Dark Glasses. Portrait

Chen Guangcheng (born November 12, 1971) is a blind Chinese lawyer. With self-studied legal knowledge, Chen helped many villagers to seek justice. However, due to his activities drawing international attention to human rights issues relating to forced abortion in China, he was sentenced to an imprisonment of four years and three months for alleged crimes of damaging property and organizing a mob to disturb traffic. He served the imprisonment and was released out of prison on November 9, 2010. But, he is not free. Until now, Chen, his wife Yuan Weijing, and daughter  Kesi are under house arrest.
